My recently completed fanfare was well received by my composition teacher yesterday. Since we both have growth mindsets, there is always something we are looking to “tweak”. I was asked to find something to “increase the wow factor”- so I found a section where I would like to change the chord progressions to make it more complex and hopefully give the listener a moment of “wow”. I am looking forward to exploring and experimenting with this section over the weekend.
Always look for growth, but never forget the journey.
