So far, this month has been very “brand” oriented with little to no time for composing.
Last week, I released a huge update to my website. First, news about “A Smithtown Celebration” being added to the Texas UIL Prescribed Music List was a huge honor. Second, “Destiny Awaits” and “Eagle’s First Flight” were both added to Makemusic Interactive. Now any teacher or student with a subscription can play these pieces and practice them.
The second episode of “Beyond the Score” was also released. This episode is about the opening movement to my first symphony, “A Long Island Portrait”. The next episode should be released in early September. These vlogs certainly won’t win an Oscar anytime soon, but my hope is that people will have a deeper understanding and appreciation for my music.
Lastly, a new “Services” page was added to the website. Included on this page is information about my music printing services, music commissions, and a new music gift store called, “Maestro’s Bespoke”. It has a collection of designs that can be applied to a variety of items, such as tumblers, coasters, and apparel. Over the next month, I hope to add to the items already listed.
