A Day in the Life... S01 E64

D.M.A. Composition Recital #1 is in the Books!

Last night, the Five Towns College Wind Ensemble performed movements 2 & 3 from Symphony No. 1: “A Long Island Portrait”. Their performance was stellar and I am extremely grateful to the members of the Wind Ensemble and their director, Professor James Dragovich for believing in my abilities as a musician, composer, and conductor. Last night’s performance, in conjunction with the BAFFA Symphony Orchestra premiering Symphony No. 2 in C minor in March fulfills the requirements of my first doctoral composition recital. A huge thank you to my composition teacher, Dr. Goya for his wealth of knowledge and insight as well as pushing me to create my most extensive, mature, and complex works ever.
