Radiant Jubilee was commissioned by the Smithtown Community Band (Smithtown, NY) in

celebration of their 40th season. During research for the 40th anniversary, rubies were identified as the traditional celebratory material. Drawing inspiration from the way light refracts and shimmers off a beautiful gem, this composition seeks to capture those dazzling, iridescent qualities. This shimmering texture is paired with a majestic and versatile theme which appears throughout the piece in several distinct styles.
