Today is going to be a great (but busy) day! Hitting the gym, then making some tweaks to my fanfare for brass and percussion, updating the website, creating and sending the May Newsletter, and completing paperwork for a recent call for scores I won.
Yes- that’s right! My most recent work for band is a transcription of the second movement of my second symphony. Entitled “Pacem”, this version is slightly shorter and incorporates more percussion. I’m beyond excited to share that it was accepted by the Huntington Community Band for their recent Call For Scores competition. They will be premiering Pacem on July 31st!
