Full Steam Ahead!
After a productive NYSBDA Executive Board Meeting today (and a very long drive home) it’s time to plan for a busy week! Field Day with our oldest son tomorrow followed by Smithtown Community Band rehearsal, BAFFA Symphony Orchestra’s dress rehearsal Tuesday, Travel Soccer Tryouts and BAFFA Concert (my last one as their Music Director) on Saturday and then two soccer games on Sunday. Somewhere in there will be some score study, the finalization and emailing of my June newsletter, and sketching out a motif for a string orchestra piece that popped into my head on my 6 hour drive back from Binghamton today.
