DAW Software --> Notation Software vs. Just Notation Software
I've been experimenting with DAW Software lately as part of my composition process. I haven't used a DAW software regularly since high school, but it's been nice getting reacquainted after 20 years. (Wow.... I feel OLD!!!) There are definitely some advantages to using DAW to sketch before using notation software, but there's certainly benefits to both ways. I'm looking forward to exploring how I can use both of these techniques in my composition as time goes by.
