I was home all day today with every possible composition tool readily available and accessible to me. Ironically, the minute I get in the car to drive somewhere, I start to hear a motif- like a solid motif. I was even hearing harmonic structure and timbres. I pulled over on the highway and grabbed the manuscript book in my car. Luckily this motif didn’t get away from me today! Just another day as a composer 😂
