Today starts my second year teaching in Brentwood’s Summer Music Program. I’m honored to working alongside some of the best educators in the state for the next four weeks. I’m excited to work with the amazing students of Brentwood as their continue/begin their musical journey in jazz and/or concert band.
Today also marks the debut of my new vlog “Beyond the Score”. This monthly video series provides insights behind the composition process and inspiration behind each of my compositions.
Tonight, the Smithtown Community Band has their dress rehearsal in preparation for tomorrow’s performance. I’ll be conducting 2 pieces- one of them being my composition, “Ascending to the Skies Above!”
